PhiloGnosis

Philognosis - The love of direct experiential knowledge.

This form of philosophical thinking IS entirely subjective to the individual experiencing it. It does not ascribe any human concepts,  it instead focuses on the present experience of the body, mind, and soul in harmony with each other. It recognizes that all of life is an accumulation of experiences, but that outside of the present moment, these experiences are heavily influenced by our preconceptions and prejudices of the world. To experience Philognosis, one must act only as the observer, and embrace all that the experience offers, whether that be joy, pain, sadness, fear, etc. These emotions are a part of the experience. STILL, WE often detract from the purity of each moment by trying to find meaning in the cascade of reactions that follow any experience. If the purpose, however, is experience itself, untainted by overreaction from the mind or body, then the soul can observe the unfolding of reality as it is meant to be, put into motion by die cast by cosmic forces far beyond our understanding.

To achieve this, one must put their desires, wants, and perceived needs aside, and accept that these larger forces have been at play longer than your own physical body has been present in the world, but they have been interacting with your unalienable cosmic self for eternity. They know what it is you need to fall into the deepest state of harmony with the energy around you, and all experience is a means of pointing you to that outcome. It is our own thinking and plotting which veers us off course, as we try to navigate an endless sea with rudimentary instruments and no heading.

To love all experience is to embrace the journey of the vessel to its final destination. To float down the Cosmic River until its inevitable return to the Cosmic Ocean, upon which the cycle will begin again, and a new river shall be traversed. Each instance gives more and more experience to the unalienable self upon which it may grow more and more resilient to energies that may decohere its expansion. The knowledge of these experiences continues on within us, regardless of individual life, as it is the accumulation of various shapes of energy which we incorporate into ourselves which ultimately creates the “being”. Our path in life is determined by which energies we hold onto, and which we choose to let go, but all experience gives us the choice. Choosing to hold onto energies which do not cohere with our unalienable self causes disharmony, making the act of Philognosis impossible, as we have held onto false beliefs or ideas about ourselves which prevent an objective and opinionless observation of any experience . In those moments of clarity, it is simple to determine which energies are meant to remain and which must be let go. To experience the fullness of our life that we are meant to, one must trust that even experiences which fill us with human negativity are necessary to balance the energies within us, and all are needed to achieve the proper unfolding of our highest reality. Only our mind ascribes actual negativity to these experiences, and thus we create a decoherent energy within ourselves, as we feel we do not “deserve” this pain or suffering. Yet, the pain and suffering are needed, albeit temporarily, to remind us that ALL experience is to be loved, as it is all part of the natural unfolding of our “being”. Remain as neutral as possible in these experiences, and instead focus on the energy that we receive that is meant to create resiliency against the next bout of pain or suffering. If we incorporate the energy of our suffering, it allows us to grow. To accept that we will face trials and hardships, but these are nothing more than rocks which jut out of the Cosmic River. These can either be smashed against in an attempt to break them, each and every instance creating disharmony in the flow. Or they can be accepted as part of the journey, and we can flow over and around them, never once disturbed by their presence, but appreciative of the changes to our flow. They give us new shapes of thoughts, allowing us to expand our idea of what it means to be “yourself”, and giving you the option to be more than what you have held possible.

The more this process is integrated into your being, the more you can receive from the Universe. Knowledge, validation, and guidance can be as simple as a crack of thunder upon having a (truly) profound thought - a tip of the cap from the universe itself to assure you of your adherence to The Path. All energy works in tandem with all other energy, and it is not limited to the concepts and structures of human language or understanding.

One’s subjective experience is as valid as any “reputable source” when it comes to the experience of one’s being. No hard science can reproduce the immense complexity that universal energetic interactions produce, and so only an individual’s complete understanding of all the experiences in their life adding up to the present moment can be seen as truth.

To describe reality with something as limited as language is like trying to draw a perfect sphere with nothing but straight lines. While you may be able to spend tremendous amounts of time and energy to do so, in the end, your description will still fall short of reality, just as a sphere drawn with straight lines can never be perfect.
